About Our Instructor
Ken Zevenbergen is a Dutchman originally from a small town in Northwest Iowa. At the age of 5, he became fascinated with woodworking. After high school, he apprenticed under his uncle for several years. He and his wife later moved to Phoenix and established a custom cabinet and furniture shop which they have owned and operated since 1993. They have had the privilege of designing and fabricating luxury furniture for clients in the Paradise Valley and Scottsdale communities.
Ken believes there is a real need for young people to learn to work with their hands and be productive, so he and his wife have started Phoenix Woodworking School to introduce the next generation to the art of woodworking. Whether as a hobby or a career, our one on one tutoring will be of value to them now and in the future. |
